Welcome your new solution for dust and spills. This clever device handles the mess, giving you back precious moments. A few minutes of setup is the key to effortless cleaning.

Here’s how to prepare the best robot vacuum and mop for action.

Unbox and check the parts:

Lay everything out from the box. You should find the robot, its charging station, a mop attachment, some spare cloths, and maybe side brushes. Check the guide that comes with it to ensure nothing is missing. Give the robot a quick look for any tape or protective stickers and peel them off.

Charge it to full power:

Place the charging station against a wall. Pick a spot with clear space on both sides. Avoid corners or cluttered areas. Plug the station in. Now, put the robot on the station. Its contacts must touch the charger’s pins. A light will show it is charging. Let it fill up completely before the first clean. This gives it the best start.

Connect to your phone:

Get the brand’s app from your phone’s store. Open the app and make an account. Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Follow the app’s instructions. It will usually ask you to scan a code on the robot or under its lid. The app will link the robot to your home network. This link lets you control the robot from anywhere.

Let it learn your home:

Close your doors. Pick up items like shoes, cords, and toys from the floor. Press the clean button on the robot or in the app. Let it drive around. It will make a map of your rooms. This first trip is just for learning. Do not mop yet. Watch it work. The robot remembers your layout for better cleaning later.

Set up for mopping:

Fill the water tank with clean water. Some models let you add a little cleaning solution. Attach a mopping cloth to the pad. Click the mop attachment onto the back of the robot. The app will now show mopping options. You can pick water flow levels for different floors. Try a low setting on wood and a higher one on tile.

Schedule your cleans:

Open the app. Find the schedule button. Pick the days and times you want cleaning to happen. You can set it to run when you are out. Choose which rooms to clean each day. You might want floors cleaned every day and a full mop on weekends. Save the schedule. Your robot will now work on its own.
